Turkish Deasciifier: Automatically Adds Accented Characters to Turkish Texts
Turkish Deasciifier is a Chrome add-on that automatically converts Turkish texts by adding accented characters. It is designed for users who do not have a Turkish keyboard but still want to write using Turkish characters.
The add-on is based on the Turkish character correction extension developed by Deniz Yüret for Emacs. It provides a convenient solution for those who need to write in Turkish but do not have access to the necessary keyboard layout.
Version 1.5 of Turkish Deasciifier introduced a settings page, allowing users to customize the add-on according to their preferences. In version 1.4, unnecessary add-on permissions were removed, ensuring a more secure and streamlined user experience. Version 1.3 added support for rich text formats, such as those found in Gmail. Additionally, in version 1.2, URLs are no longer converted, and a new logo was introduced. Versionaddressed a bug related to add-on permissions, while versionadded the ability to translate selected words.
